On the morning of June 16, Mr. Pham Thien Nghia – Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Dong Thap Province thanked for the invitation of the Advantech Group and its partner company – MDC to organize a trip to Taiwan to learn about Digital Transformation.
Advantech is a leading corporation in Taiwan in developing IoT-based products and solutions for smart applications in factories, transportation, electricity, agriculture, urban areas, etc.
MDC is Advantech’s extension arm in the field of iHealthcare. MDC coordinated and supported Advantech Vietnam in the successful implementation of Advantech’s first iHospital in Vietnam.
In April 2022, the Provincial People’s Committee cooperated with the IoT solution providers to organize the “Dong Thap: Some digital solutions for smart cities and smart manufacturing” symposium.
In order to strengthen the cooperation relationship between the two sides, Mr. Chanay Ho – Member of Management Council of Advantech Group (the co-founder of the Group) invited leaders of Dong Thap province to visit and learn about technology solutions for medical, urban, factory, agricultural, etc. that Dong Thap province cares about.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Pham Thien Nghia said that Dong Thap province always loves Taiwan, where many people of the province are living, studying and working. From October 2017 to November 2022, there were 715 students from Dong Thap province studied abroad at universities in Taiwan. Therefore, the province will visit students and universities, and learn about Taiwan’s ornamental flower industry to prepare for the Flower Festival at the end of the year.
Advantech Group and MDC highly appreciated Dong Thap’s digital transformation orientation and human resource development of the province, and they would connect destinations that the province is interested in.
