Binh Duong – May 28, Vietnam-Germany University in collaboration with Advantech Group (Taiwan, China) launched the AIoT Developer InnoWorks 2025 – Application Development Competition (InnoWorks 2025).

This is a science and technology competition in the field of AI and IoT, held annually since 2019 for students. This year, the competition has expanded nationwide with the participation of 11 universities from provinces and cities neighboring Ho Chi Minh City. AIoT Developer InnoWorks has affirmed its role as a prestigious technology playground, helping students approach practice and develop innovation capacity.

This year, Vietnam-Germany University continues to improve the quality of the competition by promoting its application, strengthening the support of businesses and expanding soft skills training activities for contestants. According to Dr. La Vinh Trung – Head of the Department of Scientific Research Management – Vietnamese-Germany University, after the competition, many high-ranking teams encountered difficulties in accessing funding to complete and develop their products. As the host, the school will continue to accompany the teams through activities connecting with businesses, consulting on business models and providing initial support in the startup journey.

This year’s competition has two main topics.

The first is “Smart manufacturing”, aiming to find solutions to automate and optimize production processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs through AIoT technology that analyzes data in real time.

The second is “Energy and environment”, aiming to find solutions to address energy saving, emission reduction and sustainable resource management issues with innovative and environmentally friendly technology solutions. The participating teams will use Advantech’s Wise-IoT platforms and devices to execute their project during the competition.
