On April 5, Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen Thao – Managing Partner of MDC and Mr. Steven Chen – Vice President of Hwacom Group had a meeting at Hospital 199 – Ministry of Public Security. On the Hospital side are Mr. Quach Huu Trung – Director of the Hospital and Ms. Vo Thi Hong Huong.
At the meeting, Mr. Quach Huu Trung said: “199 Hospital is assigned to become a smart hospital of the region and the world. At the same time, to promote the role of 199 Hospital in locally, the hospital will be an important link in connecting with major hospitals and medical centers in the country, which will contribute to defining the position of the Central – Central Highlands regions of Vietnam. In that spirit, the Hospital would like to cooperate with domestic and foreign technology companies and corporations to deploy and build a leading smart medical service ecosystem in Vietnam. After a long time working with Advantech Vietnam, MDC Company and the first meeting with Hwacom Group, we opened up great opportunities for the parties to work together, accompany and develop in the field of high-tech medical.”
During the meeting, Ms. Duyen Thao said: “Advantech and MDC have always been committed to accompanying 199 Hospital, bringing the latest technologies of international medicine and technology as well as applying leading technology in medical examination and treatment management for people in Da Nang and people in rural areas who do not have enough conditions to access modern medicine through leading connection technologies. In addition, Advantech Group also assigned MDC to consult 199 Hospital in the project of building a leading smart healthcare management & operation center in the region and Vietnam – 199 Regional Intelligent Medical Management Center”.
Also in the meeting, Mr. Steven Chen – Vice President of Hwacom Group also assessed the potential and expressed his desire to accompany 199 Hospital in the upcoming digital transformation journey.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed that MDC and Hwacom would give 199 Hospital an intelligent hospital monitoring system – iHospital Monitoring System (iHMS) with a free-use period of 1 year. The system will help the Directors as well as the hospital’s IT team to monitor the operation of all medical equipment at the hospital in real-time, give reports anytime – anywhere, system-device failure notifications, operating status and usage recommendations to optimize device resources. This is a module in the iHospital system being provided by MDC.
